Perlite

The universal substrate amendment

Perlite is a mineral of volcanic origin, expanded by heat treatment. Chemically inert, very lightweight, it improves the physical structure of any substrate.

What it provides

Excellent drainage and aeration

Root oxygenation

Reduced soil compaction

Sterile, pH-neutral substrate

Note: Perlite does not retain water — it drains. Pair it with vermiculite or rock wool for water retention.
